Quote of the Week

"I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! -- When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library."
Jane Austen (Pride and Prejudice)

I Want to Read!

So, I'm sitting here, attempting to do my homework, and not having much success.  I think if it wasn't for the snow I wouldn't even be attempting to work.  There are so many other things I'd rather be doing.  For example, I have three, yes three, new books sitting on my bookshelf that I'm dying to read.  I promised myself that I wouldn't read any of them until the semester is over.  Really, I think I'm just looking for any excuse not to finish homework right now.  I want to read, I want to write.  I have stories floating through my head that I just want to put to paper, but I feel guilty, because that's all I will do if I start now.  Just a week and a half.  I can do it.

Okay so I simply love you! But here is a goal I want you to help me with. Well one goal would be to see you finally. But we'll get to that. So this summer I should have some free time. I want to read and read and read. Will you help me make a book list. Maybe like a new book every two weeks... So for the months of May-August So I could get 8 books read this summer? I trust your taste in books.
Books I enjoy
Historical Fiction
Sci-fi
Fantacy
Mysteries

If there is a touch of romance well yippy! :)

I do however warn you though, the last friend who asked me to help her create a book list received many a midnight email because I just really don't stop thinking about books to read. :) And yes, I really do need to see you!

Well I need the guidance. I just want to read more but I don't investigate because there are so many. I love barnes and noble but I don't know where to start or what authors to trust. You know? So I trust you! I look forward to the midnight emails!

he he! I'm so glad someone trusts me, and it sounds like we like similar books too. My number hasn't changed, but sadly I don't think I have yours, so text or call me and we'll get it all figured out! :)
